The Method

Instructions

Prepare broth by heating chicken or pork stock. Add soy sauce, miso paste, and sesame oil. Taste and adjust seasoning. Keep hot but not boiling. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions (usually 2-3 minutes). Drain well. Prepare soft-boiled eggs by boiling for 6-7 minutes, then shocking in ice water. Peel and halve. Slice cooked pork belly. Divide noodles between serving bowls. Ladle hot broth over noodles. Arrange toppings: pork belly, egg halves, bamboo shoots, nori, spring onions, and corn. Drizzle with chili oil if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
